Personal Background: Eddieana holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Psychology, a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health of Counseling, and is currently a PhD candidate in Counseling Education and Supervision focusing on academia and research. Eddieana Collaborate has 13 years of experience with individuals diagnosed with autism, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder (BPD), opposite defiant disorder (ODD), depression, Schizophrenia, survivors of domestic violence, Low self-esteem, Substance and drug abuse. Eddieana's passion for change has kept her involved, and she volunteers with churches and domestic violence centers throughout her local community.
Therapeutic Approach: Eddieana utilizes collaborative treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). She believes everyone's needs are different and that meeting the clients where they are is an important approach to building rapport and decreasing barriers to a meaningful life.
